A few days ago, a friend and I were talking about the current political and economic situation in the Philippines. I asked him what the squatters thought of Aquino as a leader? His reply was…
“He is great. He is honest. He is brave for going against the likes of Janet Lim Napoles.”
“Because they believe he is good and the 4P’s and other government handouts make for great sweeteners.”
With those two answers, he had confirmed what I had known all along. The squatters and their pathetic way of thinking, have become the ruin of the Philippines. Not just in their constant “take take take” way of thinking. But in the fact that they expect the government to feed, clothe and shelter them for eternity.
In fact, these idiots actually believe they are in charge of things.
Sorry to rain on your “begging-bowl parade” folks. But the government has always been in charge. You are just too arrogantly stupid to see it. Do any of you honestly believe you would be getting a single 4P’s peso doll-out if they didn’t get your vote? Hell! The only reason your bullshit activities are no longer a crime — as President Marcos declared it — is because those same, in charge politicos are bending a few rules to keep you happy so as to get your votes. The same goes for annually wasting billions more of the legitimate tax payers hard-earned money on your pathetic hand-outs. They need your votes.
So what’s the downside to this nightmarish family relationship between the politician and his/her squatter children?
The remaining 80% of the population, every three years, have to figure out a way to outnumber their votes, so as to get their preferred candidate into office. And not some shyster who’s going to spend the next three years thanking the squatters, by paying these losers with their tax money.
The only real way to eradicate this parasitic problem, is for the next President to declare, once again, squatters — and their activities — a criminal organization. And I say organization, because that’s exactly what they are.
For if anything befalls one of their own, they react in ever-swelling numbers, as if their very existence depended on it.
So what does all this mean for the rest of us? We’re stuck dealing with millions of parasitic free-loaders who continually shove the “begging bowl” in our faces, rather than find legitimate work. That’s what.
Another perfect example of Filipino politicians meeting the needs of the people.
